Trade Assessment and Auditing via Juristic Islamic Resources

Welcome to The Muslim Trader

Introduction

We are blessed in our beautiful country and spoilt for choice when it comes to Islamic scholars, religious freedom, and most aspects of Deen for that matter. From the abundance of Maktab Madressahs to our international Madressahs, from our abundance of Ulamaa organizations to our halaal bodies, from our Jamaat work to our charity organizations, from our relief teams to our plethora of local scholars and Imaams who are ever ready to assist, teach, and impart Deen to our children.

It is the collective synergy of every single effort taking place that has placed us in good stead as far as Islam flourishing and remaining alive in a country is concerned. It is safe to say we are the envy of many other countries around the globe, thanks to our predecessors who had this vision and foresight.

It is our responsibility to further these efforts by understanding what is required and being proactive by foreseeing any challenges that our Muslim community may face, and putting systems in place to combat and eventually eradicate such challenges.

There is a massive void in the field of Shariah Auditing for Muslim businessmen. Our Muslim business community faces a major challenge as far as getting their businesses in line with the dictates of Shariah is concerned. This in turn results in haram income, which earns the displeasure of Allah Ta’ala, takes away blessings, impacts the businessman, his immediate family, and results in the destruction of entire communities upon communities who are engaged in consuming haram, many a time unknowingly too.

This concern drove At-Taajir to analyze, study, and devise a system where businesses can undergo a Shariah Audit. The process involved creating awareness regarding the need for businesses to ensure Shariah compliancy, for their own benefit in both worlds. This drive has the potential to save millions of Muslims globally from indulging and earning haraam. In turn, this would earn Allah’s pleasure, bring down favorable conditions upon Muslims, and eradicate the harms, some of which were mentioned earlier by turning those harms into benefits.
