Leadership

Heading our team is Mufti Aboobakr Siddeeq Mohammad, who completed his ʿĀlim studies at Darul Uloom Azaadville and then specialized in Iftāʾ under the guidance of two esteemed scholars:

• Mufti Ebrahim Desai رحمه الله, founder of the globally renowned Askimam.org, a platform recognized worldwide for authentic fatwas and Islamic legal guidance.
• Mufti Husain Kadodia حفظه الله, a respected authority in Islamic jurisprudence.

To bridge the gap between classical Sharīʿah law and the realities of modern commerce, Mufti Aboobakr also pursued an advanced Business Sharīʿah Compliance course, gaining hands-on experience with major corporations and complex business structures. This program was conducted under an organization that draws on the expertise of scholars from Darul Uloom Karachi, one of the world’s foremost authorities in Islamic law.

Together with a dedicated team of ʿUlamāʾ, Muftis, businessmen, and professionals, and in consultation with senior local scholars, The Muslim Trader provides practical compliance tools such as:

• Self-Evaluation Sharīʿah Compliance Questionnaire (SEMCQ): A guided tool for businesses to assess their practices.
• Detailed Sharīʿah Audits (DSA): In-depth reviews to identify and resolve compliance issues.
• Islamic Legal Rulings and Guidance: Practical fatwas and solutions for contemporary commercial matters.
